Our Mission

LOYAC is a locally-driven social enterprise that aims to improve employability and increase the personal agency of youth in Jordan, aged 16-24, so that they are able to lead independent, productive, and fulfilling professional and personal lives.

Our Vision

Youth in Jordan work and engage with others as empowered, self-motivated, and fulfilled individuals that nurture, inspire, and effectively contribute to their families, their workplaces, and their communities.

Our Goal

is to build a bridge between the worlds of education and gainful employment for youth by:

Empowering young people to effectively develop and transform their skills and preferences into employment.
Promoting access to work experience and soft skills and in-house job training through internships.
Increasing the recognition of voluntary work and community services as working experience.
Providing pathways for greater and creative choices in sustainable employment choices.

Our Objectives

are to create partnerships and platforms for practical training and programs for students and youth in Jordan that will:

Provide training and workplace experience that will help local youth acquire the critical soft and life skills training, work experience, and other professional competencies required for gainful employment.
Transform unharnessed energy into positive, creative drive so that local youth have the tools to become agents of positive change in their lives and in their communities.
Embed a sense of agency, responsibility, civic duty, and engagement in the national landscape.
Enable youth to become proactive and productive citizens who are fulfilled in their own lives and who contribute to the governance of the nation and its leadership in the region.

Our Story

LOYAC was established in 2008 as a grassroots, social enterprise run by volunteer women, who leveraged their connections to create summer jobs and internship opportunities for youth in Jordan to help prepare them for the job market after they graduate.
