Employment Oriented Vocational Training In Skilled Crafts.

GIZ – Skilled Crafts (Phase 1)

The primary aim of the project is to conduct career guidance and counseling as well as internships and job placement for 300 vulnerable Jordanian and Syrian refugees in skilled crafts occupations in seven Governorates (Amman, Aqaba, Balqa, Irbid, Ramtha, Tafileh, and Zarqa).

GIZ – Skilled Crafts (Phase 2)

Employment Oriented Vocational Training in Skilled Crafts Project (Phase 2) is complementary to the previous phase. It entails carrying out tracer studies to around 1,000 Jordanians and Syrian Refugees in seven different governorates around the country: Amman, Irbid, Zarqa, Balqa, Ajloun, Karak, Tafileh.

After completing the Career Guidance and Counseling Workshop, the beneficiary is matched with an internship or employment opportunity.

Phase 3 (2020–2021)

GIZ – Skilled Crafts Phase 3 (2020–2021)

Employment Oriented Vocational Training in Skilled Crafts Project (Phase 3) is complementary to the previous phase. It entails carrying out tracer studies to around 1,500 Jordanians and Syrian Refugees in seven different governorates around the country: Amman, Irbid, Zarqa, Balqa, Ajloun, Karak, Tafileh.

The traced beneficiaries later can participate in Career Guidance and Counselling training. 40% of the beneficiaries are matched with internship and/or employment opportunity in the field of skilled crafts.

The project starts in November and ends in November of the following year.
